External Description:

The Anesthesiology Technician will work cooperatively with the Anesthesia Tech Supervisor & Lead Anesthesia Tech to provide support for anesthesiologists and anesthesia providers caring for patients during surgical procedures and non-surgical sedations at CHLA. Also, will provide care based on the age and developmental needs of the patient. Demonstrates commitment to the CHLA family centered model of care.

Qualifications: Minimum of two years (2) as a Certified Anesthesia Technician with emphasis on clinical procedures. OR a graduate of an ASATT approved program and completion of required clinical components.

 ASATT Certification Required: Obtains and maintains certification as Anesthesia Technologist or Anesthesia Technician from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologist within one year of hire. Maintains competence and professional development. Maintains certification as required.
